So you want to learn to trade? Welcome to the start of your trading journey. No doubt at the moment it is an exciting but daunting prospect. Do not fear, this is perfectly normal and everyone must start somewhere!
We will be here to guide you along the way, through our webinars, trading analysis videos and blog posts.
Everything we teach in our course is technical analysis and price action, so you’ll be able to apply the techniques we teach to any style of trading and on any timeframe.
It is a good idea to keep a record of your trades. It can help you to analyse and learn. How you keep track is up to you – some people use online templates, written journals or create their own excel spreadsheets.
Our trader tracker allows you to keep track of your equity, position size, open positions and whether or not you should close your positions (if using a time-based exit as we do in our swing trading system). It will also calculate stop losses for you based on the Average True Range (ATR) method (we’ll get to that later). Feel free to customise to suit yourself.
Our videos use real examples and we think it is crucial to spend as much time analysing the charts as possible. We strongly believe the fastest way to learn how to trade is… to trade.
Start in virtual demo mode to familiarise yourself with the platform and to make those initial mistakes without risking real money and then if you feel confident you can make the transition to a real account.
As and when you make the investment is completely up to you. Arguably the most important sections, the trading psychology and money management guides, will make a lot more sense once you move on from demo mode to a real account.

The most important factor that will determine whether you become a successful trader or join the majority of losers will be your commitment to learning: trading is not a skill you are born with, it must be LEARNT!
